The Webb Nature Sanctuary offers a lot of nature in a small space. Its 20 acres include a mix of woodland, meadow, and stream valley. These are home to nesting songbirds from the tropics; amphibians, including spotted salamanders and woodfrogs; gray and red fox; flying squirrels, and other mammals; reptiles, such as box turtles, five-lined skinks, and black-rat snakes; and a variety of butterflies, dragonflies, and other insects. Interpretive signs along our trails offer information about local natural history. The Webb Nature Sanctuary grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. When you come, be sure to save time to visit the charming, historic town of Clifton.
