Watercolor Journaling Workshop Series at 7:00 p.m.
Workshops in this series are scheduled for Sundays at 7 p.m. from July 12 thru August 9. Each session is stand-alone, but participants are welcome to register for multiple sessions. Advance registration for each session date is available thru the day prior (while space remains).
Each session is limited to 15 people (ages 9 and up); you must register for each session date separately.
Walk-up registrations will be accepted on-site if there are any open spaces remaining (or no-shows).
All sessions meet in the overflow parking area at Paynetown SRA. In the event of inclement weather, the workshop will be moved to a shelter (please meet at the original location and the workshop leader will redirect you).
Participants will discuss, sketch, and use watercolors to paint a native plant, under the instruction and guidance of local artist and certified art teacher, Destiny West. You’ll take home nature journal pages that you create, as well as a reference sheet about the plant you focused on. All painting supplies will be provided, but participants should bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on. 2 hours
