About
NatureFind was inspired by a visit to a state park and a
handwritten sign that announced, down the hall, a program on
snakes. And that program was magic, introducing two young
girls, and their father, to the marvelous, not scary, world of
snakes. It was fun, entertaining, and a lesson in the role
of snakes and all other species in our world.
And we discovered that there are thousands of events like that
(we're featuring over 200,000 this year) in every part of the
country. Because of all of the hard work and dedication of
the people who offer those events, our job at NatureFind is incredibly
rewarding. It’s simply to help you find
nature nearbytm.
You can also help others on their nature discovery…by offering
your suggestions in the ‘Add Stuff’ section for places and
events, or providing your photographs or videos. And by telling
friends, or better yet, taking them on a nature outing.
